Ninja Creami Dole Whip is an easy way to make that creamy pineapple sorbet. The homemade dole whip has that perfect pineapple flavor for a delicious homemade ice cream.
Have you ever had the Dole Whip at Disney? I have a couple of times and it is SO good. The first time I had it was on a really cold day, but I still couldn't resist getting some. It's that good. That I would eat ice cream in 40 degree temperatures.
I had to try out a version in my Ninja Creami. And the result? Pretty amazing. It took me three tries to get the measurements all just right, but hey, I'm not complaining about all the taste testing I had to do to create this recipe.
It's pineapple-y, creamy, and super delicious. And easy to make.
I processed this on the sorbet setting with an additional respin, and it was perfectly scoopable. However, you could respin an additional time if you want it really creamy.
Ingredients
- Crushed pineapple in pineapple juice
- Milk
- Heavy cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Half a lime
How to make Ninja Creami Dole Whip
Add the crushed pineapple to the Ninja Creami pint container.
Add the milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and juice from half a lime. Stir to combine.
Freeze for at least 24 hours.
Process on the sorbet setting. If dole whip looks crumbly, add a splash of milk and respin.
Yum!
The Creami dole whip may be perfectly scoopable. If you want creamier, respin again or add more milk and respin.
Recipe tips
- If your Dole Whip is too hard, add more liquid and respin it.
- If your Dole Whip is too soft, add it back to the freezer after processing to let it harden a bit before serving.
- Make sure to use the canned crushed pineapple in pineapple juice for the best results.
How to store leftovers
If you have leftovers of the Creami Dole Whip, simply smooth out the top, place the lid on top, and return to the freezer.
To enjoy the pineapple sorbet again, either scoop out, or if it has frozen too hard and you need it softer, process the dole whip again on the sorbet setting.
