Ninja Creami cake batter ice cream is the perfect treat when you want the delicious flavors of cake batter or birthday cake, but in an ice cream! This recipe only uses 5 ingredients and is easy to make.
Were you a kid that loved eating cake batter? That was me. I loved taking a taste of the leftover batter in the bowl. While not healthy, it was delicious.
So when I was thinking of a new Ninja Creami flavor to try, I wanted to make a cake batter ice cream! I mean, sounds delicious, right?
And yes, it really tastes like cake batter, but in ice cream form. I like topping with sprinkles to kinda make it more like a birthday cake ice cream, but they are optional!
The ice cream comes out creamy and delicious. Perfect when you want birthday cake AND ice cream. And it only uses 5 ingredients (not counting the sprinkles).
Ingredients
- Milk
- Heavy cream
- Vanilla pudding mix
- Sugar
- Cake batter extract
- Sprinkles (optional)
How to make Creami cake batter ice cream
First, add all the ingredients to the Creami pint container.
Stir to make sure they are all combined.
Cover and place in the freezer for at least 24 hours.
After 24 hours, the pint is ready to be processed!
Process the ice cream on the regular ice cream setting. If it looks powdery like below, add a tablespoon or 2 (I added 2) of milk and respin.
Here is a photo of the milk added. You don't need to stir in, the Creami will do that for you! Just add to the top and then respin.
Your cake batter ice cream should be creamy and delicious.
You can add sprinkles straight to the pint and enjoy!
Or scoop out and add sprinkles then.
Recipe tips
- This recipe will work in a regular Ninja Creami or Creami Deluxe.
- If the ice cream is too soft after processing, add back to the freezer for a bit to harden up.
- If the ice cream is powdery after processing, like in the photos above, add a couple of tablespoons of milk and respin.
How to store leftovers
If you have leftovers, simply smooth the top of the ice cream to create a flat surface and then place back in the freezer. Depending on the temperature of your freezer, you may need to reprocess before enjoying again.
Test and see if it is scoopable, and if it is not or you want it softer, reprocess on the ice cream setting.
