Ninja Creami pistachio ice cream is made with only four simple ingredients. This version uses pistachio cream for authentic nutty pistachio flavor.

Did you ever hear that the best way to chose an authentic pistachio gelato in Italy is to choose one that is more tan in color or muted? Because real pistachio gelato isn't supposed to be bright green?
Well that is the vibe here. This Ninja Creami pistachio ice cream is made with pistachio cream, so it's got that great nuttiness. It's made without Jello pudding mix, so you don't have that green color, instead you have this more authentic tan color. And it's delicious. So delicious.
Ingredients
- Pistachio cream
- Cottage cheese
- Milk
- Sugar
How to make Ninja Creami pistachio ice cream
Add all ice cream ingredients to a blender and blend until combined.
Pour into your Ninja Creami container and freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours.
After 24 hours, run a little warm water alongside the outside of the container to help it thaw (this will help the outside layer process into the ice cream properly).
Process on the ice cream setting of your Ninja Creami. If your pistachio ice cream is crumbly, add a splash of milk and respin (mine was perfect as is and did not need respinning).
Recipe tips
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to reprocess before enjoying again.
- Your ice cream may vary in color based on the brand of pistachio cream you use.
- If you want pistachio texture, add chopped pistachios using the mix in feature of your Ninja Creami.

- 1 cup cottage cheese
- ⅔ cup milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons pistachio cream
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until combined. Pour into the Ninja Creami container.
- Freeze on a level surface for at least 24 hours.
- Remove from the freezer, run warm water along the outside edge to thaw the outside and then process on the Ice Cream setting of your Ninja Creami.
- If ice cream is crumbly, add a splash of milk and respin.
- Scoop out and enjoy!
