Ninja Creami peanut butter cup ice cream is the perfect balance of peanut butter and chocolate. It's creamy and so easy to make.

Peanut butter and chocolate are just such a delicious flavor combination. So I decided to make a Ninja Creami peanut butter cup ice cream. I made a peanut butter ice cream and then added chopped chocolate pieces as a mix in.
The result was amazing! It really tastes like a peanut butter cup. It was the perfect amount of peanut butter flavor. I used milk chocolate for my mix in, but you can use dark chocolate if you prefer! That's the wonderful thing about the Ninja Creami. You can customize for what you love.
I also used cottage cheese instead of heavy cream for the base. I love using it because it gives the ice cream more protein and creaminess! The texture is just amazing. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend.

How to make Ninja Creami peanut butter cup
Add the milk, sugar, cottage cheese, peanut butter, and vanilla extract to a blender.
Blend together, then pour into your Ninja Creami container. Place the lid on and freeze for at least 24 hours.
Remove from the freezer, then run a little warm water along the outside of the container to thaw the very outside. Process on the Light Ice Cream setting. Ice cream should look scoop-able, like below. If for some reason it is crumbly, add a tiny splash of milk and respin.
If you smooth it out with a spoon, it should look like this! It will be a delicious peanut butter Ninja Creami ice cream at this point. But let's add chocolate to make it a peanut butter cup!
Make a hole in the ice cream and add 2 tablespoons of your favorite chopped chocolate pieces.
Use the mix in setting on the Creami to incorporate the chocolate into the peanut butter ice cream. The ice cream should be amazing and perfectly scoopable!
If you want, add a few more chopped chocolate pieces to the top and enjoy!
