I love grabbing some pork chops at the grocery store. They are so delicious and easy to make and eat. But occasionally I want to do something different than regular pork chops.

That's when I love making these air fried pork bites.

They are easy and so quick. Cook up in less than 6 minutes. Perfect for when I want a super quick lunch that is still delicious.

Ingredients

This looks like a lot of ingredients, but most of them are just spices and seasonings! And the butter, soy sauce, and lemon are optional unless you decided to make a butter sauce to coat the pork chops in.

  • Boneless pork chops
  • Olive oil
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Dried thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter (optional)
  • Soy sauce (optional)
  • Lemon (optional)

What type of pork chops to use?

I used boneless pork chops for this recipe that were ½ inch in thickness. You can use a thicker cut, just know that you will need a longer cook time to make sure pork chops are cooked to 145 degrees F as an internal temperature.

How to make air fryer pork chop bites

Preheat your air fryer at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.

Take your pork chops and pat them dry with paper towels. Place on a cutting board.

Serve however you like! I love to make a sauce with butter, soy sauce, and lemon juice.

And then top with parsley or your favorite fresh herb. So flavorful and delicious.

How to customize

You can easily customize these with different seasonings and spices! If you want them to be spicier, then add a pinch of cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, or harissa.

How to serve the pork bites

I love to make a quick sauce from butter, soy sauce, and fresh lemon juice and serve that with my pork chop bites. A honey mustard sauce is also delicious with these!

If you're looking for a tasty dipping sauce, I love this honey mustard bbq sauce.

The air fried pork bites also pair wonderfully with side dishes like air fryer smashed potatoes, air fryer sweet potatoes, and air fried whole acorn squash.

And we all know how beautifully apples and pork pair together! Make these air fryer apples to top your pork with.

Recipe tips

  • This recipe uses relatively thin pork chops (½ inch thick). If using thicker pork chops, you may need to either cut into thinner pieces or cook for a longer time in the air fryer.
  • Pork should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
  • All air fryers cook differently. Adjust cooking times as needed. Start checking at the 4 minute mark for doneness.
  • Recipe can serve one or two, depending on serving size. Double to serve more!
