Ninja Creami key lime pie ice cream is like eating the delicious dessert, just in ice cream form! This version uses regular limes, which makes it so easy to make.
This Ninja Creami recipe captures the taste of key lime pie perfectly. It's beautifully tart and creamy. This is also a higher-protein version thanks to the cottage cheese!
The key lime pie ice cream is easy to whip up using simple ingredients you may already have at home. The graham crackers make the perfect mix-in to add that pie crust texture to the ice cream! This is a new favorite of mine, and one I'll be making again and again.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese
- Limes
- Sugar
- Milk
- Vanilla extract
- Graham crackers (optional)
How to make Ninja Creami key lime pie ice cream
First, prepare your ingredients! Zest up your lime and then juice the limes.

You'll want to add all the ingredients (except for the graham cracker) to the blender and blend for 10-15 seconds. Then pour into your Ninja Creami pint. (If you don't want to use a blender, you can just add all the ingredients to your Ninja Creami container and stir.)

Cover and then place on a level surface in your freezer for 18-24 hours.

Process on the Light Ice Cream settting. If needed, respin. (If crumbly like dry sand, add a splash of milk and respin).

Either add crushed graham crackers as a mix-in, or simply stir in yourself, like I did.

Enjoy!

Recipe tips
- I always like to run warm/hot water along the outer edge of my Creami container for 30 seconds before processing. This helps the outer layer to thaw and get properly incorporated.
- If your Ninja Creami is crumbly, add a splash of milk and respin. if it's just not soft enough, simply respin. Needing to do this or not may depend on your freezer temperature.
- If your ice cream is too soft after processing, add back to the freezer for 20-30 minutes and scoop out and enjoy.
- If you have leftovers, smooth out the top and return to the freezer. You may need to process again before enjoying.
