Homemade peach iced tea is a refreshing summer drink. I use fresh peaches and iced tea to make a drink worthy of sipping on all summer long.
Make me all the cold drinks this summer. Starting with this summery homemade peach iced tea.
I love adding mint and basil to mine, but it would also be delicious with other fresh herbs or leave it out all together. Whatever you wind up with, it will be a delicious and refreshing drink.
The recipe assumes you already have some iced tea on hand, but if you don't whip up a batch! Then you can use it to make both this peach iced tea and this blackberry iced tea.
Ingredients
- Iced tea (green or black)
- Fresh peaches
- Mint
- Basil
- Ice
Customization ideas
Homemade peach iced tea is perfect with mint and basil, but you could also use just one or the other or swap it out for an herb like thyme.
I like to make a sugar free peach iced tea, but you could add some simple syrup to your tea if you want a bit more sweetness. I like the simple sweetness from the fresh peaches though!
While I typically use fresh peaches, if they are out of season and you want to make this, you can also use canned peaches.
What to serve with the peach iced tea
The peach tea pairs wonderfully with so many summer dishes. I love it with some tomato crostini, whipped lemon ricotta dip, whipped feta dip, or these CAVA copycat bowls.
