Air fryer radishes are easy to make and a delicious side dish. These roasted radishes are made completely in the air fryer and come out gorgeous and perfectly seasoned.
Radishes don't just have to be eaten raw! They are delicious when cooked too. And since I've been cooking everything in my air fryer these days, radishes are one I knew I had to try.
What a winner. The slight earthiness comes out in the radishes, but with a delicious roasted flavor. So good, and a perfect side dish. Don't have an air fryer? Try these miso roasted radishes that are made in the oven.
Ingredients
- Radishes
- Olive oil
- Dried thyme (or other dried herb)
- Salt
- Pepper

How to make air fryer radishes
Trim the radishes and then slice in half.

Add radishes to a large bowl.

Add olive oil, dried thyme, salt and pepper to the bowl.

Stir to coat the radishes in the oil and seasonings.

Place in the air fryer basket. (You can use air fryer parchment paper, but it's optional).

Air fry for 12-15 minutes, tossing halfway through cooking time.

Plate and enjoy.

How to customize
While I used dried thyme on the radishes, you could also use another dried herb. Tarragon, parsley, Italian seasoning, or herbs de provence would work well.
You could also spice things up with a little red pepper flakes if you like!
And if you want a little citrus or brightness, you can squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the air fried radishes.
Recipe notes
- Radishes are done when the inside is soft when pierced with a fork. However, you can leave them in as long as you like to reach the perfect level of roasted for you.
- All air fryers cook differently. Adjust cooking times as needed.

Really enjoyed radishes in the air fryer. Totally surprised me! I served with a little ranch dressing for dipping on the side.
Will definitely do again.
