Air fryer spaghetti squash is easy to make! Use the air fried spaghetti squash as a replacement for pasta or to make stuffed spaghetti squash.

Recently I have loved making different types of winter squash in my air fryer.
I've done whole butternut squash, whole acorn squash, and I love whole spaghetti squash!
I find that the squash roast up quicker in the air fryer than the oven, and come out perfect every time.
This is a simple recipe, but it can be used in so many ways after the spaghetti squash is cooked!
Ingredients
- Spaghetti squash
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
Where to find spaghetti squash
Spaghetti squash is a winter squash which means it's typically found in the fall and winter months. Most grocery stores carry spaghetti squash and you'll find it in the same section as butternut squash, acorn squash, etc.
How to make spaghetti squash easier to cut in half
Protip! If you have a hard time cutting spaghetti squash in half, here's a way to make it easier.
Simply poke the spaghetti squash all over with a fork, then cook in the microwave for 3-5 minutes.
The spaghetti squash will still be uncooked, but slightly easier to get your knife through!

- Make sure you choose a spaghetti squash small enough to fit in your air fryer basket!
- All air fryers cook differently. Test your spaghetti squash for doneness and cook a little longer if needed.

I actually like to split my cooking by microwaving cut side down for 10 minutes and then finish in the air fryer for another 10 cut side up. The air fryer gives a more nutty taste to the squash but for me was a bit drying if done the whole time in fryer. Times depend on squash size and thickness.
