Comes out perfectly roasted - Due to the circulation of air in the air fryer, the spaghetti squash comes out perfectly roasted.
Easy - It's so easy! After oil and seasonings, you pop your spaghetti squash into the air fryer, flip once, and that's it!
I also love making spaghetti squash in my air fryer when I want to free up my oven space for cooking something else. Especially since spaghetti squash takes so long to roast in the oven.

How to make air fryer spaghetti squash
Slice spaghetti squash in half lengthwise.
Scoop out the seeds. Drizzle olive oil over the cut side and rub in with your fingers or with a silicone brush. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place spaghetti squash in the air fryer basket face down.
Cook for 20 minutes at 380 degrees F. Flip, then cook another 10 minutes.

How to use air fried spaghetti squash
Air fryer spaghetti squash can be used in so many different ways once it comes out of the air fryer!
You can simply fluff the squash with a fork to form spaghetti strands, then top with alfredo sauce and some parmesan cheese.
Recently I made air fryer cheesy stuffed spaghetti squash where I added some sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese. So good!
And of course, you can simply remove from the air fryer and use the spaghetti squash as a replacement for pasta. I love it topped with bolognese sauce.

Spaghetti squash is a winter squash which means it's typically found in the fall and winter months. Most grocery stores carry spaghetti squash and you'll find it in the same section as butternut squash, acorn squash, etc.
How to make spaghetti squash easier to cut in half
Protip! If you have a hard time cutting spaghetti squash in half, here's a way to make it easier. Simply poke the spaghetti squash all over with a fork, then cook in the microwave for 3-5 minutes. The spaghetti squash will still be uncooked, but slightly easier to get your knife through before air frying or roasting.

I actually like to split my cooking by microwaving cut side down for 10 minutes and then finish in the air fryer for another 10 cut side up. The air fryer gives a more nutty taste to the squash but for me was a bit drying if done the whole time in fryer. Times depend on squash size and thickness.
