Air fryer gochujang salmon is full of flavor! The salmon gets coated in a delicious gochujang sauce before being cooked in the air fryer. This is an easy salmon recipe that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
The air fryer isn't only for reheating leftovers and making food crunchy. It also makes some delicious flavorful food too!
I recently had some leftover gochujang paste from making gochujang brussels sprouts, and I knew I wanted to create a salmon dish using the gochujang paste as a sauce. And the verdict? So tasty. So flavorful.
And it can be ready in less than 15 minutes. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or easy lunch.
Ingredients

What is gochujang paste and where can you buy it?
Gochujang is Korean fermented condiment. It's a delicious balance of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. You can typically find it in the red tub in the grocery store. Here's a photo of what you should be looking for!
The photos below are of the one I typically get at Trader Joe's, but they usually come in a similar red container no matter what brand it is.
What to serve with the salmon
The gochujang salmon is delicious served with some veggies like air fryer shishito peppers, air fried green beans, or air fryer broccolini.
I love serving it with some sesame rice too. I drizzle a little soy sauce over the rice to give it extra flavor.
Recipe tips
- All air fryers cook differently. Cooking may also depend on the thickness of salmon. Adjust cooking times as needed.
- If your air fryer is prone to sticking, spray or brush oil onto the air fryer basket before adding the salmon.
