Air fryer roma tomatoes are easy to make and so flavorful. These roasted air fryer roma tomatoes can be used to make soups and sauces or simply paired with pasta or garlic bread.

Raw tomatoes are tasty, but roasted tomatoes are even better.
And my favorite way to roast up tomatoes these days? The air fryer. It's just so quick and easy to make roasted tomatoes in the air fryer.
I've done it with cherry tomatoes, but it works great with these roma tomatoes as well. And after they are cooked, they can be used in so many different ways!
You can eat them just on their own or use them to make tomato soup or tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- Roma tomatoes
- Olive oil
- Dried oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
How to make air fryer roma tomatoes
Slice tomatoes in half and place in a large bowl.
Add the olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Toss gently to combine and get all the tomatoes coated.
Add to air fryer basket, skin side down.
Air fry at 370 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Remove and enjoy!

They can be. I typically don't peel them if I'm enjoying them on toast, a grain bowl, or on their own.
However, if you are using them to make a sauce or soup, then you will likely want to peel them. This is easy to do after cooking the roma tomatoes in the air fryer.
