Air fryer broccoli turns crispy and delicious in less than 10 minutes. Cooking broccoli in the air fryer is an easier way of making roasted broccoli.

Broccoli is delicious. And when I want some quickly roasted broccoli, the air fryer is the appliance I turn to! It roasts up broccoli and gets the florets crispy in less than 10 minutes.

If you want tender, steamed broccoli, this is not the recipe for you. This recipe for crispy air fryer broccoli will give you just that -- crispy broccoli. The florets get a little charred, but so good.

Sometimes I don't even use a fork to eat this broccoli. I just pop the florets into my mouth like popcorn. Yum.

Ingredients

  • Broccoli
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder

How to make crispy air fryer broccoli

Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes. While air fryer preheats, cut broccoli into small-medium florets and add to a large bowl.

Add broccoli to the air fryer and cook at 390 degrees F for 6-8 minutes. Check at the 6 minute mark for doneness, but cook longer if needed.

Recipe tips

  • This broccoli gets crispy and roasted in the air fryer. However, it's helpful to check frequently to make sure your broccoli doesn't get burnt.
  • All air fryers cook differently. Adjust cooking times as needed.

How to customize

This broccoli recipe can be customized in so many ways! Want a bit of spice? Add some harissa powder, peri peri seasoning, cayenne pepper, or red pepper flakes.

Want a lemony flavor? Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top or add some fresh lemon zest.

Want a cheesy flavor? Add some grated parmesan or some nutritional yeast.

What to serve with air fryer broccoli

Crispy roasted air fried broccoli pairs well with a lot of dishes. I love it with air fryer panko chicken, air fryer chicken bites, air fryer parmesan crusted chicken, air fryer salmon, or air fryer pork chop bites.
