Peri peri mayo is easy to make using only four ingredients. This spicy mayo is perfect as a dipping sauce, used on sandwiches, or in any way you may use mayo!

I am such a fan of making my mayo a little more fancy and flavorful. I've made a lot of different flavors using simple pantry ingredients, and if you have peri peri sauce on hand, this is an easy one to make!

The peri peri makes for a nice spicy mayo and it's perfect using in so many ways! I love drizzling it over chicken or fish and of course it's the perfect dipping sauce for fries or air fryer roasted potatoes.

Ingredients

  • Peri peri sauce - Use your favorite peri peri sauce.
  • Mayo - This is the base for the mayo. You can use your favorite mayo or you can make your own homemade mayo if you prefer.
  • Garlic powder - This gives the peri peri mayo an additional depth of flavor.
  • Smoked paprika - I always love adding smoked paprika to my peri peri dishes. It gives it a slight smoky flavor.

Recipe tips

  • The recipe for peri peri mayo is nicely spicy. However, taste it and if you prefer it a little spicier, add more peri peri sauce. If you are using a milder peri peri, you may wind up adding more than one tablespoon.
  • Want less of a smoky flavor? Only use ½ a teaspoon of smoked paprika.

How to use peri peri mayo

Peri peri mayo can be used in a lot of different ways!

It can be spread onto sandwiches, used to make chicken salad or tuna salad, and is also delicious as dipping sauce. I love dipping crispy battered French fries or air fryer chicken nuggets into the mayo.
