Air fryer biscuit donuts are so quick and easy to make! These cinnamon sugar donuts only take 5 minutes to cook and turn out soft and fluffy on the inside while coated in a cinnamon sugar crust on the outside.

When life gives you a can of biscuits, make donuts. That's a saying, right? It is in my house!
These air fryer biscuit donuts are a favorite. And so easy to make since you're simply using a can of biscuits.
When cooking, the cinnamon sugar coating forms a deliciously crunchy crust on the outside. My husband likened it to the top of a coffee cake or a churro. He's a huge fan of these donuts. The first time I made them, he kept bringing up HOURS later how good they were. So I guess that's a ringing endorsement.
Ingredients
- 1 can Grands biscuits, flaky (8 count) - I used the Original type. Buttermilk would be okay too, but I'd stay away from any butter lovers type.
- Granulated sugar
- Cinnamon
- Milk - Any type of milk will work. I used whole dairy milk, but you could use almond milk, oat milk, etc.
How to make air fryer biscuit donuts
To a medium bowl, add the cinnamon and sugar. You want to choose a bowl that is large enough to dip your donuts in!
Add milk to another bowl.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together.
Preheat your air fryer at 360 degrees F for 5 minutes.
While air fryer is preheating, use the donut punch to punch holes in all your biscuits to create a donut shape.
Dip donuts in milk on both sides, and then in the cinnamon sugar mixture so both sides of the donut are coated.
(Note: for less sweet donuts, only dip one side in the cinnamon sugar mixture).
Once air fryer is preheated, add air fryer parchment paper if desired.
(Note: DO NOT add parchment paper during preheating as it will fly around in the air fryer and can catch on the heating element, creating a fire hazard).
Add donuts to the air fryer. My air fryer fit four at a time, but yours might fit more or less depending on the size.
Cook for 5 minutes at 360 degrees F.
Remove and enjoy!
Recipe tips
- For a less sweet version of the donuts, only dip one side in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Do not add parchment paper to the air fryer while preheating.
- You may need to cook in multiple batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
How to store leftovers
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container or bag for 1-2 days at room temperature.
You can eat leftover cinnamon sugar donuts at room temperature, or warm them slightly in the microwave or air fryer before eating.
